DAVID POWELL PERSHICA BIO

David has been tapping for over 25 years.  In that time he has studied with: Debbie Appalucci, Dein Perry (creator of Tap Dogs), Henry LeTang (Tony Award Winning Choerographer), Savion Glover, Randy Skinner and Germaine Goodson. 

David has danced all over the world from NYC to Las Vegas to London.  Last August he founded Tapography Dance Studios in Philadelphia where he specializes in teaching adults how to Tap and Ballroom Dance.  Currently, he is in demand as a Master Class teacher (for his specialty in traditional “hoofer” style tap) at area dance studios, as well as a choreographer.

Monthly Master Classes for Tapography have included classes with The Rockettes, Will Armstorng (42^nd Street, Broadway), Stephanie Eley (A Chorus Line/My One & Only, Broadway), Kevin Duda (Little Women, National Tour) etc.
